The bistro is run by two beautiful girl that once had their own restaurant.The quality is restaurant quality, not the usual Bistro quality.Prices are reasonable and menu changes every 3 or 4 months, so always something new.Plenty of food to choose from, chicken, fish & seafood, you can even get burgers, wow, what a meal they are.Kids and Senor meals available that are more than reasonable.If you in the area and don't give it a try, your missing out on something really special.
The Mortdale RSL is well presented with a clean and inviting atmosphere. There is a TAB alongside, as well as a large gaming area. The food upstairs at Mikes is tasty and generous serving sizes, usually pretty heavy on carbs too!The staff are always friendly, and there are regular events and raffles run onsite. It would be good if there were more pool tables, there only appears to be one which is obviously popular. Upstairs there is also a private room for function hire.
Went for family dinner. Bistro upstairs had plenty of seating, despite being very busy, food came quite quickly.Meals were huge and well cooked.Had pasta (large bowl), fish and chips (2 pieces and salad), chicken parma (massive with chips and salad).Great value.Plenty of parking, just need to sign in.
this is a small club with a pleasant bistro. the bistro has a reasonable menu with good meals that are very tasty. the service in the bistro was very friendly and efficient. the club looks a bit old and tired inside and had signs of a few water leaks through the deck. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
we are regularly in the club, but just recently a function there and it was fantastic! the personal was amazing and so helpful. I left with a huge smile on my face as I was so happy with the service and eating. thanks to lisa and the team of mortdale!
My wife and I visited this bistro with high expectations as it was highly recommended, in our opinion, it doesn't live up to our expectations. The service was very poor although plenty of staff were about, they seemed uninterested.
On offer is a standard registered Bistro Menu. The food is tasty but does not represent good value for the prices charged. The food appeals to the demographic who dine there who are mostly elderly members of the Mortdale RSL Club.
Not really a restaurant in the French sense, they call themselves an Epicerie/Table d'HoteBut, whatever you call this business, it is worth a visit. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
