Lemon Lulus have truly become a legend in our household. We've had them shipped, traveled from New York to Vermont just for them, and even had relatives stuff their trunks full of them—all because a holiday just isn't complete without one. When I got married this year, I knew I had to include Lemon Lulettes as wedding favors! They were, of course, delicious and looked stunning on our tables. Jacki was incredibly easy to work with; all 220 treats were perfectly packaged for our trip to New York, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. I have been coming to another Myrick’s since I was a little girl at their original location. I’ve grown up to LOVE their lemon lulu’s and love the fact that they made minis! Their chocolates are fun. I actually have bought some of the “tool shaped” chocolates for clients. As well as bought Lemon Lulu’s for clients in past too. Always a hit. Buttercrunch is a true staple to get when I am visiting — along with a lemon Lulu The owner Ron and his wife are very kind. I’ve even seen Ron at The Big E festival at his Mother Myrick’s booth in Western Mass in October. Great family run business!! Tasty treats. Decorated beautifully for holidays.
I remember coming to the original store as a little girl, and I have always loved MM, but I bought some fudge right before Christmas which was possibly the worst I have ever had. I don't know if it was frozen, but it was hard stale, and just awful. Very disappointed as normally their tests are wonderful. The mini lemon lulu I bought was great, as always.
Absolutely fantastic candy shop! It has the “old timey” charm which is a bonus. Their butter crunch is some of the best candy I’ve ever had. I live in Vermont, I have lots of family in other states. The owners are really nice however the manager is unprofessional. He talks about customers while they're in the store shopping. He acts nice but that's just a facade. That's probably why the company has a staffing issue. Yes, this store is expensive! Don't bother writing back because no matter what you have to say isn't going to change my mind.
My family and I always look forward to visiting Mother Myrick's whenever we're in Vermont. I've even made a 10-hour round trip in one day just to satisfy my craving for their Lemon Lulu cake. Totally worth it! Their buttercrunch is also incredibly delicious.
Excellent products! The Lemon Lulu cakes were a hit with my family this Christmas. Carol is fantastic to work with, especially if you have any special requests. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
