We went last Tuesday for my dad's 57th birthday. Grandpa and I had halibut and fries, grandma, Shawn (my brother) and Dad had halibut and Greek salad, Mikey (other brother) had fried shrimp and my mother had a cheeseburger platter. All food was hot, fresh and delicious. The halibut was nicely coated and perfectly cooked and my fries were fresh made (not out of a bag) with the right balance of crispness and potato. Can't comment on their desserts as we were all too full to order. Needless to say we will definitely be back again. Already planning to have dinner here with my bf at the end of May.
We had the halibut & chips and chicken fingers & fries, along with coffee to drink. The fish was a very generous piece, perfectly cooked and not greasy! The fries were also perfectly cooked and delicious! The gravy portion was also generous and delicious! Even the coffee was excellent, which a lot of times isn't the case at a dinner restaurant! The service was the best we have had at a restaurant in a long time! She was attentive and friendly! A great meal for two with coffee, AND supporting local business at about $30....can't beat that! Highly recommended!
Although their specialty is definitely fish and chips - and they are simply fantastic - all the food served in this family friendly establishment is delicious! Hard to beat lunch or dinner in a restaurant where the food is cooked to order, very tasty and plentiful, the staff are welcoming, parking is plentiful and they also serve beer and wine. Try it, you'll enjoy it..and will return to become a "regular".Easy to find - just off Hwy 401.
Yes, the fish is the best, especially the Halibut and the chips hot, plentiful and delicious. Salads and Coleslaw fresh and homestyle with lots of alternate choices in menu. But it is the service and the welcome you receives from the owners that makes one feel like you are joining family for dinner. Always a great meal and a welcome back.
This is the original owner who then sold to Napaneee Fish & Chips, he reopened the business after the other guy moved. The meals are excellent and you don't have to listen to the owner yelling at the staff like the other guy did - so glad he's back.

Well-run with friendly efficient staff, this small restraint is excellent value. It was quite busy but the turn-around is efficient so no-one is kept waiting.
Glad the original owner reopened and brought back the original quality of the food. We have dinner here at least once a month and never leave disappointed.
