I ordered online and paid then I went in to pick it up nobody said anything to me there was food all over behind the counter like it was gross and then on top of that a guy finally came that was back there cutting the meat just to you know cut the meat in there and then everybody that was there got their order and left and then it?s not like there was like a line of orders ahead of me but I got that guy that was cutting the meat came out and said have you been waited on I said no and he goes well you?re 15 minutes early and I?m thinking well I would understand that if they were you know plot doing orders but it would?ve been faster for me just a walk in do the order then because everybody le...
I go here at least once a week. Sandwiches and salads are really good. Bread makes a big difference, and their bread is fresh. They also do wraps, and they are good size wraps. Service at the Atascadero location is pretty good, could always be better, but they get everything made in good time. Sometimes I think the staff gets flustered if busy. I've tried to call and place and order, and multiple times I get a busy signal or it just rings. I've mentioned it to a few people that work there and they say it was because they were super busy or training someone new. You can also order online which is an easy process as well.
We drove up north to meet some family and they picked up sandwiches for lunch for when we got to their house. They sent us the link for Mr Pickles website. They have a wide array of sandwiches a few salads and one or two sides. The website was easy to navigate through. We ordered The Mr Pickles that came on this awesome dutch crunch roll, a Reuben on classic marble rye that was pretty darn good and not fatty at all. We also split a house salad with balsamic. It was a great lunch. I cant speak for the shop itself since I didn 't go but their sandwiches were spot on.

While chatting with my sandwich maker, I told him we were going to have a marathon of alien movies with our lunch, while we were (coincidentally) both decked out with alien clothing/earrings. We stopped here while on our way to Carmel. My son in law had told us about these places so we thought we'd give it a try. I had a Rubin sandwich, which is one of my favorites, and it was one of the best I've ever had. My wife had a coup of soup and she said it was also delicious. I think we've found a new favorite place to get a sandwich. Too bad there are none near where we live!
We enjoyed our lunch at Mr Pickles today. The 4 breads to choose from was hard to decide which one we wanted. I had the longboard on sweet roll-pastrami bacon avacado and cream cheese with the works . Easy location on el Camino real in the Vons Shopping Center next door to Give Fitness Health Club. Plenty of parking for all vehicles.
Standard build your own sandwich at the switch. It's hard to screw up a sandwich, but they had pretty funny characters. You also give a free cookie.

This is one of my favorite places to get a sandwich in Atascadero. The prices are good. The services are quick and the sandwiches are tasty.
