We had passed this restaurant quite a few times and had read a good review in the paper so decided to do dinner with friends. We placed our order of shared entree and individual mains and then the wait began - about half an hour for our entrees to come out and then another hour to wait between entree and main. The quality and portion sizes of the meals were fine but the long wait overshadowed our visit.Very casual atmosphere with plastic tables and chairs and butchers paper on table.
My wife and I visited this café on Easter Thursday evening. The family run eatery is fabulous...great menu, delicious food, very friendly, homely staff and very reasonable prices. We shared a bruschetta, a garden salad and a BBQ seafood plate (entrée size) and then we had individual gnocchi and carne canneloni. All were superb. Coffee was hot and high quality. All for less than $70. We will be back.
This restaurant offers excellent Italian pasta, pizza, and entrees, but we primarily come for their seafood. The value for money here is unmatched and the seafood is impeccably cooked and incredibly fresh. Be prepared for a slight wait for the seafood, but it is definitely worth it. Also, be sure to arrive before 8:30pm as they stop taking orders for seafood after that time.
The owners are present and engaged. They are proud of their food and have every reason to be in their modest surroundings.If you really enjoy a meal or don't have time to dine in, there is an array of their food available in the fridge or freezer. Lovely little restaurant run by a very sweet older Italian couple. Serve authentic Italian home style food, fresh and flavoursome. Prices are very reasonable (we paid under $120 for a big dinner for 5 people). Cannelloni and gnocchi are especially highly recommend.
We've been coming to this little local gem for year now and have never been disappointed- a great menu with something for everyone and great food - cooked like they would at home. We can't recommend Stuzzichini highly enough for food,service and value for money.
There are no frills but the ambience is relaxed and pleasant, and the food (cooked with amazing efficiency by Antonietta) is terrific. Very reasonable prices and a favourite with many local people. Byo - there is a bottle store across the road.
The pizza are 11-14 each BUT they are not anywhere near normal size. I bought 5 pizzas for a group only to realise they are snack size and suitable for 2-3 ppl. The pizzas are good but very small. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
