I ordered the Cajun Box, which comes with 3 pounds of crawfish, two ears of corn, potatoes, and sausage. The food was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere at the restaurant was amazing as well. We arrived around 30 minutes before closing, but we never felt rushed. I ended up having a lengthy conversation with the owner about Mobile since I recently moved here. I highly recommend Mud Bugs at the Loop!

I absolutely love the shrimp and fries, and the steamed dishes were also delicious. The sausage is worth highlighting as well. The dining room is clean and beautifully decorated, featuring tasty food and attentive, accommodating service."
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and was really impressed. You get a generous portion of food for the price. However, the boom boom sauce could use some improvement, as it was a bit lacking in flavor. I highly recommend trying the steam platters and the Royal Reds. Absolutely! I agree with the other reviews. This was my second visit, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the shrimp and fries, and the steamed seafood was also delightful. The sausage was amazing! The dining room is clean and beautifully decorated, and the food is delicious. The staff is attentive and courteous as well.
My order was incorrect, and the staff was unhelpful when I requested a correction. I suggest saving your money. The seafood was oily and lacking in appeal. The owners were not welcoming, and I recall they used to accept EBT cards but would charge a cook's fee. Overall, this place is quite disappointing and could leave you feeling unwell.
We always make it a priority to stop here on our way to Gulf Shores. The seafood is fantastic, whether fried or steamed. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff is very friendly! The manager was incredibly helpful in accommodating us and our dog on a hot day. This place never fails to impress.

The food was incredibly tasty, and the service was outstanding. Even though we arrived near closing time, the staff was kind and urged us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. We will certainly come back the next time we're in Mobile. Food rating: 5/5.
