I took my russian friends to Mummola. They thought the food was the best they had had during the week they have been here and dined out. The Mildly spicy chiken pasta was very tasty; want to have it once again before we leave. Also Grilled steak was a top performace of the cook. Service was friendly and correct in timing, and not coming to skin as in some restaurants. Nobody to kick in neither infront. The interior is very cose, as the name tells (Grandma 's home)
Name of the restaurant means grandma's home and it fit the restaurant perfectly. This place offers the same feeling and style of food that you get, when you visit your grandparent's home in the countryside in Finland. Food is well prepared and portions are for the hungry. If you get tired of local or other international well-known kitchens in Playa del Inglés this is definitely worth the try.
The hidden gem! Wow, what an excellent choice for tapas, little snack food and drinks. We tried the place few times and loved it. Very friendly and kind services and the food very good. The prices are in line with other places. They could open up a bit earlier to get some lunch traffic as well. But not something that is difficult to live with.
Great service and Finnish/Northen style food. Especially the Carelian pie which is in the pic included. Highly recommendable place which has a different style from all the rest neighbouring restaurants. Feels like home as the Finnish name translated is At Grandmothers
Hyvää ruokaa, hyvää ruokaa ja henkilökuntaa, sitä ei voi suositella. Erinomainen paikka, erinomainen ruoka ja henkilökunta. Täytyy tulla tänne joka kerta, kun olen Playa del -pelissä.
Finnish styled place, great burger and friendly people working. We had the pulled pork burger and stew. The pork, fries and vegetables were really tasty (maybe a little too salty)
Really friendly staff. Good prices. Nice place to meet different kinds of people. In overall our experience was a good one. You can even borrow books from there.
Tasty Finnish food! Salmon soup, liver etc. etc. Try dry Finnish white wine i.e. Koskenkorva, or take Gin long drink...buy wool socks...you will like those!!!
