I came in on a Wednesday during parents ' week, which was busier than a typical Wednesday, according to the staff. I got the salmon risotto, which I was hoping would be good, but I was blown away. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the risotto was more impressive as it was cooked to the perfect al dente, with just a slight pop to the risotto. It was by far the best I 've ever had, by far. I had to give kudos to the kitchen staff because it was that good. They told me that they 've been working on it for quite a while and they were very pleased to hear that they nailed it. Always good food when we come visit my son at Dartmouth. Outdoor seating on a beautiful fall weekend. So many other people also brought their dogs with them. Had the sirloin burger. Similar to a smashburger burger, but less greasy. Place was busy, even at 2 o’clock. Reservations recommended. Wait staff was very friendly. Food ready quickly, less than 10 minutes wait time. It took a long time for us to even be acknowledged while waiting for a table. The mac and cheese was $24 and completely lacking in flavor, with a small portion size. Our drink glasses had lip smudges all over them, even though none of us were wearing any lip products. The service was rated a 2 out of 5. We’ve traveled across the US from Oregon to Maine to Charselton SC. Our server Zach was the best we’ve had, personable, entertaining, and provided great service.
