while we visited the highland, we went a few times to the savoury – eating was excellent, the environment was beautifully relaxing, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. on a last visit, however, we were served by a sturn, whose style was “rustic” – swinging narrative and generally persistent I didn’t think until – while they paid for the bill – they insisted “where are you?” (as we go again) we told her that we were visiting london: “No, I mean, “Yes, you, whatever,” they are asking me. with an incredible amount of vote, she continued to count the new years of other cultures – so embarrassing that we were standing on the hunt, talking and walking fast.
we had an excellent family dinner here. the salmon capital was beautiful, and the children's dishes were received from the same quality as an adult and they loved it. I should have stayed for pudding, but we had to catch a train so we could not stay any longer. the table had a beautiful view over the river and the service was excellent. a highlight of our journey into the inverness. I would also recommend booking as a popular place!
al des staffs was very friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for them. the event was lively and although much to do was efficient without feeling in a hurry. there was a good choice to arrange. Eating was delicious, well presented and quite expensive. I would recommend this restaurant. we wanted to do a special job to celebrate our high-time jubilee, and the sensual was not disappointed.
A reasonable choice of GF or GFA available. Order clearly made but when main course came (menu notes it as GFA) there was no difference. I queried this and was assured that it was all GF. I asked them to check the menu which they then did and removed the dish as it contained gluten and no alternatives had been provided.. The meal was replaced, BUT should not have had to question them!

Couscous was labeled as gluten free when it was not. They served my coeliac daughter a dish with breadcrumbs and assured us it was gluten-free, only to come back a few minutes later and apologise that it wasn’t. The manager was very nice and the food was good but this is not a good place for coeliacs.
a week in Scotland, and the seed was by far the best we had during the trip. it is a slightly elevated restaurant, but it still felt relaxed and casual. had an amazing evening with friends over several bottles of wine and then ended with desserts and an espresso martini. I'm in highlands next time!
back to the first time in a few years. as always tasty eating, warm and friendly service everything perfect. interesting that the people we have met and about all rave over this place. that says something about his call.
Was in Inverness for the weekend recently and dined here. Food was star. Portions were very generous. Would recommend to anyone to try. Will definitely go again
