Selected this restaurant for a special occassion, based on a review in the Qantas Traveller magazine I had read some time before. I eat a lot of Thai food and was looking for something a little different from the local suburbanThai food. Have to say I was hugely dissapointed - requested a "waterside" table but arrived late and ended up placed in the middle - ok - we did arrive late but the "waterside" tables are actually some distance from the water - did not make much of a difference. Service was friendly and efficient and the food nicely presented but it was very dissapointing - by Thai standards not at all tasty and not as good as many local Thai places. My wife was away so I wandered into Darling Harbour for lunch. This is not a 'personal' restaurant but the staff were attentive and helpful. I ordered the duck rolls and a stir fried chicken. Also a bottle of white wine. Hell nothing else to do that afternoon. The food was excellent and well presented. The wine kept cool and topped up when needed. I ordered some chilis on the side as the dish was mild by Thai standards. Like Chinese food years ago all Thai food in Sydney is now 'dumbed down' spice wise to avoid complaints. Overall a nice experience.
The flavours here are great, we tried the chicken stir fry (can't remember what it was called exactly) as well as the wagyu beef with the noodles and the betel leaves. All dishes were consistently excellent with great quality meats. Service was good but we were also here on a slow Tuesday evening. The dishes are a bit pricey but absolutely worth it. Would we come back? Yes!
There are many choices in this strip of restaurants at Barangaroo. We lucked in at this restaurant. We had a wonderful chicken stir fry (just avoid crunching on a full chilli) and stunning flavour from their Masaman curry. great food, good service, nice selection of wines and good value overall.

This is a really lovely Thai placeI know there's heaps of options in Sydney but this one has a great mix of traditional and modern dishes.
Do NOT eat here NO JUST NO Well you can eat here if you want to throw away your money and your taste buds took the night off.
