This is the WORST nandos in Swindon. Only go here if desperate times call for DESPERATE MEASURES! Ordered from them and they refused to compensate me even though they gave me tasteless and burnt chicken. I have had at-least 3 experiences with them and all have been bad! I have gone in person and the chicken was wet and uncooked. My last order was dry and my final order was BURNT! If you don’t think it couldn’t get worse- don’t give these people such a challenge-they will amaze you and show you how low they can really get! We arrived and ordered our food. The restaurant was quiet and there were a lot of staff around. Our food took a long time to arrive and two of the meals were left sat on the side waiting to be delivered to the table for around 15 minutes. When we got the food, it was cold and not great. We still hadn’t got our drinks or the starter that we ordered so we asked a member of staff. He got us our starter which we sent back because we already had our mains. He then got us two out of the four drinks we ordered with no glasses and we’d almost finished our meals by the time the rest of the drinks arrived! Nando’s is pretty reliable and consistent, but the quality here is really declining. Dry corn on the cob, brown coleslaw… Service is also amateurish. From where we were sitting we could see food coming out, and our dishes were sitting out for a full 10 minutes and being ignored by waitresses who just wandered past in a daze. Eventually I had to go and point out that the food was ready, and even then the waitresses seemed to just be on another planet and STILL didn’t bring the food. Eventually the supervisor delivered them. She offered to have the food recooked, but by that time we were hungry. Disappointing drop in standards.
We arrived after an awful journey from Plymouth. We were told we couldn’t eat straight away but was told to return 30minutes later and we could be seated. Unfortunately we could not be seated straight away when we returned. The children of the group were tired and hungry and we were all feeling frustrated. Kylie, who I believe was the manageress came to see us, tended to the children, got them sat and eating within 10 minutes. The whole staff were obviously busy and under pressure but everyone that we saw couldn’t have been more helpful. I am so grateful to the team for turning a half term nightmare into a half term dream.
Honestly a great experience. Went here for our 17th anniversary meal. The staff were attentive and one lady in particular when they didn’t have the beer requested gave us a large wine instead of medium to compensate. Fantastic staff throughout the restaurant although rushed off their feet were attentive and gave great service. The food was fab, we had not been to a Nando’s before and everything was explained and so easy to order! We will definitely be back as we didn’t realise it was so good! Staff need a pay rise!!
Busy evening (GCSE results day so no surprise) with not enough staff, had to chase up drinks (30 mins after ordering) and then chase up food. Young children running through the restaurant with their drinks from the self serve machines sloshing onto the floor no action from staff, they just watched. Could do with some weedkiller around the tables outside, looks messy! Won’t rush back plenty of other eating places nearby which are much better organised. Disappointing.
First visit to Nandos and I was very impressed. Restaurant was clean and tidy, was greeted and seated immediately. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. Kids had a great time. Special thanks to Chanel who I think went above and beyond. Taking care of the kids with colouring sheets, letting us know about the menu and generally taking care of us. Probably one of the better resaurant experiences I've had. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back.
5 adults and 3 children were our party and personally I was impressed. Me and the wife had a Nando’s years ago and was not impressed at all so we ain’t been since but for my sons birthday we went and the food was excellent and the service was spot on. Only negative is that you are all squeezed in a bit and close to other diners but the food is good.
Wait time was estimated 30minutes. 1/2 Chicken HOT. Table 27. We moved from being outside to inside and the chef with his hat back and on the front grillz, made some the best chicken we’ve had in a while and even delivered to our table to apologise for the wait time!
