I received part of my meal upfront, but was told the fries would take longer and be brought out later. I finished my food after about 15 minutes, then waited another 15 minutes and ultimately decided to leave when it became clear that my fries weren't coming. I noticed multiple people who sat down after me were receiving their orders with fries. While the garlic bread was good, my chicken was overcooked. The server was clearly overwhelmed; she was the only one working and I saw her raise her voice at the kitchen staff more than once due to the delays. Overall, my experience was neither enjoyable nor satisfactory. I was disappointed, especially since I usually like the Nando's franchise, but...
Overall, the food was quite good. However, the 12 wings I ordered didn’t come with the sauce I expected (this might have been my mistake), and the wings were a bit too charred for my taste. I think I’ll stick with regular chicken or chicken sandwiches in the future. The fries were tasty, and I also ordered a 1oz scoop of hummus to go with them. The turmeric cauliflower was delicious and served hot; I would definitely order that again. The Naughty Natas was also very good—better than what I’ve had in the past, which probably indicates they were a fresh batch.
Hands down to the manager in charge today, correct me if wrong but his name is Colin, my girlfriend and I got 3 whole chickens to go, he went about and beyond to make us feel comfortable about our order. I ordered my usual chicken breast pita today and was very disappointed. The chicken was thighs, not breast meat. It wasn’t cut. The lettuce was brown and there were no other vegetables like there usually is in the pita. Very sad lunch! Some of the wings were a bit smaller than others, but they were tasty. However, there weren't as many avocado slices as shown in the picture.
