This Filipino- owned spot is definitely worth the wait to be seated. Their breakfast bowl was like nothing I’ve had before with the potatoes lightly fried to perfection and a unique blend of okra and seasonal squash inside. We also had their Ricotta pancakes topped with a fresh berry blend and you could easily taste the difference between what you would find in a mainstream chain restaurant serving breakfast. They were both so good that I can’t decide on which of the 2 plates we enjoyed more. We each had their Honey Lavender Latte w/ oat milk and it was one of the best I’ve had! The Ricotta pancake was rather a big disappointment, not even the blueberry compote, whipped créme fraiche and maple syrup could save the dissatisfaction of paying that price for over the counter pancake powder mixed with Ricotta cheese, it was too dense and rubbery, it wasn't well executed. One thing I have to say is the owners are great people who only care about other people and that is most important! All the other things that come with running a restaurant business will finally be good because they take care of other people.
