Nayhely's Place - Tisch reservieren

I'm conflicted about reviewing this particular restaurant. We had a pleasant meal. Food looked amazing. Me and my wife both ordered meals with poached eggs. And we both got a very heavy poach. (Fully solid yoke). When I order a poached egg my expectation is is I'm going to cut into the egg and I'm gonna get a runny yoke that I can spread on the rest of my food. We both could have sent it back. But decided not to mainly because we wanted to get on with our day and it took quite a while To receive the food in the 1st place especially since there was almost no one else being served. It's a great little nook. Seems to be family run but that doesn't mean poorly run. There does seem to be a lack of personal service. By that, I mean that I felt like our server was just a bit too shy. She was very nice and I absolutely am not complaining about her at all, but it just seemed like she wasn't really interested in anything but getting the order in. Anyway, the food was great. They use real eggs (if you don't know that some places use a powder or mixture) and their omelette and scramble were very good. One thing I noticed was that it seemed a bit underspiced. The perfect hole in the wall place. Food is simple but very well cooked. I had the corned bed hash with eggs over easy and breakfast potatoes. The meat was tender and well seasoned, the potatoes crips and hot, and the over easy eggs were cooked just right. Very happy, will return.

So wonderful to find a clean cute old-time style diner. The owner greeted us, waitress was super nice. The cook even split our order for us. Great food and a good price. Highly recommended!

Small restaurant tucked in a strip mall in Hazel Dell. Food was very good. Spanish omelet and Ruben sandwich.
