Top dim sum place in LA. This is the only few places in LA that is still using traditional pushing cart to serve dim sums. They are open for outdoor dining again where you can enjoy hot and steaming dim sums. The dim sums offered here are comprehensive to include every dim sum you can think of. But during the pandemic, some of the dim sums are not in the carts. We came on the second day of the Chinese New Year for lunch dim sum. You can imagine the line would be extra long. So we came early and got a table with very little waiting time. We totally enjoyed the new year dim sum with friends and family. We ordered a lot and had a feast. I love nbc (the canal, but I love the restaurant even more! Every time we visit our grandparents, we tend to eat in a few places, but primarily NBC Restaurant (not that we complain! . Even when we came lunch after Thanksgiving, we did not really stop at the food. Now the details... the restaurant itself is HUGE and there are tons of tables. It looks good, but due to its size, the sound can somehow become loud. On busy days, although it's big, it can wait a bit. However, there is a reason for this waiting, and it is the upper Notch Dim sum. They have a great variety, and a ton of cars are going around. NBC definitely ranks as one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. They have a wide range of dimming sum, and they are all really delicious. I could go into detail about certain dishes, but I have different preferences, and all are delicious anyway. It is also really cool how customers can order large amounts of dim sums to go, so they have a store of food at home or do not want to eat there. MPK best. This place is regularly packed and ridiculously packed on weekends. Known for their large dimming sum and fairly decent prices, NBC is what is cheap / good Chinese MPK food is all. It is probably one of the most popular Dimm-Summe Square in real Asian ghetto. This MPK stable has been for years, the weather of the difficult and ultra competitive environment MPK. This is an overdue review. The first time I tried this place was when my mom’s former coworker invited my mom and I did lunch/dinner. I cannot thank him enough. My first experience here was great! If you are craving Chinese food in the San Gabriel Valley area, NBC Seafood Restaurant is a good choice that won’t disappoint. The quality of the food is top quality and very delicious. This place also serves great dim sum! Whenever my family and I crave dim sum, this was the go-to spot. The food is not only delicious, but the service here is quick and good. I have tried my fair share of dim-sum restaurants over the years, and NBC is by far one of the best. somehow, consistently fresh, tasty and offers a variety of dishes. You will get the true dim sum experience with the shopping cart. the best to go into large groups so you can try a whole lot of everything. the place is now rebuild, expands its already large multi-room location, so parking can be a little pain. despite its expansive size, there is always a long waiting time on the weekends. It seems that if I try a dim-sum place, I inevitably compare it with NBC and nothing ever manages to get close. I ate by the sea... I thought NBC was better.
From coast to coast, the dim sum are very similar. I always wish restaurants would be more creative. I was very pleased with the dim sum here. There are so many different selections in addition to the traditional ones. Everything was delicious. The service was great. The waiter always checking my teapot. Empty dishes were removed promptly. This is one of the best dim sum restaurant I have ever been to. I wished I had a bigger stomach so I can try more things. Thumbs up!
NBC is the Top 10 dim sum restaurants in all of socal hands down. During covid, they are open and with outdoor dining open again, we can finally enjoy their dishes fresh and steaming hot! Top tip, call in your order in advance and avoid waiting in long lines.
I was a little harsh before. This is my favorite restaurant in Chinatown. The food is delicious and the price/ portion ratio is awesome. I've had a lot of fun experiences here.
