I haven’t had Negril in quite sometime because I’ve been trying to get away from franchises. I must say the meal didn’t disappoint and they never have for me. I ordered the curry vegetable platter with rice and peas and cabbage, a ginger beer, coco bread, and curry shrimp patty. The curry patty and coco bread were fresh and tasty. Just what I was looking for to satisfy a craving.
I LOVE this Negril location. It’s always clean, and even when very busy, the staff tends to move quickly without being rude or ignoring customers. The food is great and their portions are large enough to always have some leftover for later. 10/10 would always recommend!
I placed a to-go order for some jerk wings, oxtail, and curry goat, which came to $47. The food was served hot and was very well-seasoned. I didn't have to wait long for my order either. The restaurant itself is clean, has nice seating, and has a great ambiance.
Service/food hasn't changed since I started eating it in the late 80s from Negril in Silver Spring MD. No food service can stake a similar claim as people and owners change. Negril has it locked down which is why I'm still a faithful customer. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Toasty soup and escovitch fish sandwich with escovitch and dressing on the side. What the day calls for in my office that is almost alwayd cold. Food to warm the body and soul.
