Our family dictated in the border of the other night. When I go to a restaurant and it's just room, it usually means that the food is great. Happy to say that I was right. I had the Prime Rib, the best I tasted in the area, despite what other restaurants can advertise. The portion was also considerable. My husband chose fried chicken, he said it was tender, not dry and not greasy. It was well seasoned. The big children had 1/2 lb Cheeseburger, the sandwiches were big, and the children said they were brilliant Our server was attentive and polite. Service was ok. It was moderately busy but it did take over 8 minutes for someone to acknowledge us after we were seated. Both floor servers passed by our table during that time. One could have at least said they would be with us soon or something. Just an opinion. The classic burger for $10 was the only disappointing part. It was extremely small even for being stated it was 1/4 lb pre cooked. Fried chicken was ok but not overly impressive. The pulled pork sandwich was the best of the 3 meals. I do enjoy it and it is priced fairly to me. Server did a nice job after we were greeted. Kept our drinks full. Overall ok experience. Nothing exceptional.
Let’s start by saying I normally love Frontier. The appetizers were fantastic. However, we were a party of 5. My food came out about 10 minutes before the others. Then 2 more were served and then probably another 5 minutes before the other 2 were served. I was there a couple of weeks ago on a Friday, the place was packed and the whole evening was great. Tonight was a Saturday and surprisingly they weren’t that busy. Our waitress told us she had only been there a couple of weeks and I don’t really think she was the issue. I think it was from the kitchen. I will definitely go back, but hopefully they will have worked out the kitchen issues.
This restaurant is a great place to get a steak for an amazing price, far out weighing the nearby Hornets Nest which is way over priced with average food... The Frontier has a nice bar area or a place to sit and eat in a family style dining room. The steaks here are flavorful and boast being fried or grilled. Fish burnt mine and my wife's. Told waitress fish was burnt. She said cod should be well done. Acted like we was a bother. took several times asking to get 3 napkins for the 4 of us. Service and food terrible. Used to go there at least once a month with friends. Thus group will find a friendlier place.
Excellent food and wonderful service! The owner had my little ones pulling tickets for a Raffle game and thanked them with free brownies that my guys loved. The staff was personal and friendly. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed. We will definitely come back.

Great renovation of a classic tavern. Bar food and atmosphere still there but now a family room too. The food is good and the portions are very healthy. Big fishbowls of beer and good attention from servers too

Salads had way to much chopped onion in them. Fried chicken was Luke warm and tasted like fish. Baked potato was supposed to be loaded. Had cheese and bacon bits no butter or sour cream. Not a good experience.
My husband and I stayed here last week and it was incredible! The food was from this world! The staff is great. Our waitress was great. Would recommend this place to everyone.
