We made a special trip to this bakery hoping to pick up some fresh items. We bought Paczki, Angel Wings, Raisin Challah bread, a five-layer bar, and a crispy cinnamon cookie. The Paczki were filled to order, and we expected them to be really fresh. Our total was nearly $40.00, but when we got home, we found that the bread and Paczki were far from fresh. I understand that some items can age, but they should be labeled and priced accordingly. I am very disappointed and will not be returning.
I thoroughly enjoyed going to the new Martha Washington Bakery. I was able to get some authentic Polish desserts and I got to sample a couple of the items that I got. It's a very clean place, the owner was very engaging and I walked out with some wonderful Polish desserts and cookies that I'll be bringing back to Ohio with me when I leave on Monday from Hamtramck Michigan.
I had a great experience at the new Martha Washington Bakery. They offer authentic Polish desserts that I just had to try. The place is very clean, and the owner is quite dedicated. I picked up some delightful Polish desserts and cookies, which I plan to take back with me to Ohio when I visit Hamtramck, Michigan, on Monday.

The paczki were extremely dry and hardly filled. We ended up tossing them and decided to visit another bakery. It was quite disappointing given the positive reviews and the price.
Waited 3 Hours for a Dozen of Paczki. They were Dry, Hard, Not enough filling. On top of everything going up on prices. I spent $23.00 for a Dozen WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY??
The paczki were small and dry dough. The also wasn't much filling in the ones I bought Very sad after all the reviews I had read.
