Yet again, another incredible experience at one of my favorite restaurants on the East End. Their Pre Prohibition Manhattan with special cherries never fails, the excellent Spinach Salad with a beautiful over easy egg and pork lardon croutons and, tonight, we were able to take part in their wood oven pizza delicacies (Sun Thurs only) Fungi for me and an extra beverage for dessert (although the N T Tartufo has been a favorite for many years ... lots of willpower to pass up tonight). High end service to a T and always a smiling face, Nick Toni's is in a class all its own, whether you are coming in jeans or a 3 piece suite. Everyone is treated the same with love! Food is consistently great from apertizer to dessert, and quality of food far outweighs its price. N&T is one of the best restaurants in EH. The only blemish was service at the time we visited. It seemed they were understaffed for a packed restaurant. We definitely will go back again and again and hope they will have sufficient wait staff by then.
As always Nick Toni's is the gem of East Hampton, always delicious, with great service and delicious food. If your looking for a great wine, just talk to Julie. I'm looking forward to my next meal.
My pasta was cold. The sauce was soupy. They cleared our plates while still eating and without asking. I've eaten here many times before and this was a disappointment.
