This was an incredible golf experience. The design is very fun and challenging in a good way. The course was in great shape. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. It was cold, windy, and rainy and I shot a 106 because I could barely get a grip on my clubs by by golly was it the most fun golf experience I ever had. Free unlimited range balls, free pull carts, free tees, free towels for the rain. I bought a Golden Bear Nicklaus North hat at the clubhouse and the nice lady working there even offered to take the tags off. A true class VIP feel all around. My first visit to this restaurant was quite memorable. The course was challenging due to strong winds, making the round difficult. Approached by the marshal on the 5th tee, we were informed that we were behind pace and were urged to pick up the pace. Despite the unfavorable playing conditions, we were pressured to speed up. After finishing the 9th hole, I tried to grab a hotdog but was told we didn't have time and had to keep moving. A shop employee pointed out that we were behind pace again and gave us a strict time limit to finish the next two holes. The golf course has a nice layout with challenging holes. The fairways and greens were well-maintained, but the 17th green was a bit of an outlier. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the driving range was subpar, with old mats and no distance markers for targets. The GPS in the cart was unreliable and didn't provide hole overviews. There was also a lack of bear-proof bins on the course. The restaurant had delicious food, but the pizza could have been sliced before serving. Overall, the prices were a bit steep.
Played the course back in May on a golf trip playing all the local courses. Course itself was great. Brought a group of 13 and we were watched under a microscope the whole round. Pro shop staff begins our welcoming with asking us if we know the alcohol rules didn’t ask us how we were doing. Finished the round and wouldn’t let us chip or putt on the public putting green. Had a rude experience from an employee here when I simply asked him if the bag he had was my friend's bag. It put a bad taste in my mouth the rest of the game. The cart had some garbage in it from the last game and the digital screen thats supposed to tell you info on the holes, froze on hole 4. Other than that the golf course is well groomed and fun to play
Absolutely incredible round yesterday at Nicklaus North. For being this early in the season, the course was in pristine condition. The greens were immaculate. Played fairmont on the same weekend and NN blew it out of the water. Will definitely be back
Had such a good experience golfing and dining here throughout the summer, I decided to come back in the winter. Outstanding service at the bar from Shane and Justine, glass was never empty, food was 10/10. Highly recommend year round!!

Beautiful golf course by the Green lake, not too complicated. Nice club house with restaurants.
