Went there tonight for a birthday meal with my partner. Incredible food service, literally couldn't fault a single thing! Good amount of food too. We had lots of little things to try between courses that were complimentary as well, and free prosecco on arrival for the birthday girl. I recommend booking to eat at the counter/bar the barman was super nice, definitely added to the experience and made some amazing cocktails. Best restaurant in Surbiton by FAR, and while it's not the cheapest, it's still a bargain for the experience and one I can't wait to do again when the next menu comes out. Absolutely fantastic evening, already said we'll go back very soon! Thank you team 97!
We love the very good food and excellent service. Were there many times during winter period. This time we were disappointed because I booked a table outside at Maple Road. I knew the tables and like the elegant flair with the white table clothes. Now they changed the seating it feels like sitting in a beer garden with simple beer table seating. Gladly they seated us at the bar instead but in summer when I would like to dine outside it is no longer an option for me.
At £38 for two courses No 97 might not be cheap, but believe me when I say it is punching well above its weight. Since discovering it a few months ago, we’ve become fairly regular visitors, and we are always impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. My only worry is that it will get a Michelin star and then we won’t be able to get a table!
I was blown away with how good my lunch was this weekend. I've eaten at many good eateries, up to two star level. Wow, the food was beautifully plated, very very delicately seasoned and delicious. 100% reccomend and will return again without a doubt, more than once.
