I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and I was underwhelmed both times. I have eaten a lot of Greek food -- it is one of my favourite cuisines. This restaurant doesn't measure up. Greek food is simple to make, there is no excuse for sloppy preparation. Greek restaurants are getting a reputation for being "expensive.". If they don't smarten up their act they will go the same way as the Greek fish and chip shops, which are now almost extinct.
Nobel Greek Restaurant is in the heart of the Keilor Road coffee strip. Nobel has a reputation for serving good food. Several other Greek restaurants can be found nearby, which keeps them on their toes. The food is traditional Greek cuisine, including some delicious desserts. Nobel is a step up from fast food and cafe style dining. It is one of the better restaurants on the strip We have been to Nobel several times and always left satisfied.
Visited in Nov 2010, it was a cold night, and the place was almost full, just got a table. WE ordered some dips which was excellent, The bread was hot and chruncy. I ordered a lamb and Chicken plata, and my parter ordered Calamari, The serving were very large, and we struggled to finish it. Overall the food was excellent, and the service was top rate. Will visit again for sure...
Busy place doing a roaring trade in souvlaki and other traditional Greek fare. be prepared for the insatiable thirst that kicks in an hour later as everything is pretty heavily salted. Nice people, a local fave just not anything to write home about Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I dine at Nobel quite often as its easily the best souvlaki you will ever eat. Service is great, atmosphere is great, food is to die for. I have never been disappointed and the place is always full. Congrats guys, easily 10/10
Good food. Great service from Harry who was making sure we were happy. Coffee took awhile due to waitress too interested in her mobile phone whilst our drinks were getting cold on the counter. Harry very prompt to the rescue!
So much food and so tasty. Traditional Greek cuisine. The dips are so nice. The meat is cooked to deliciousness! Chicken, lamb - divine. Make sure you come with a hunger as this place fills you to the brim.
Great atmosphere and food in this restaurant but you can tell the owner doesn't really care about you. And if you ever want to order takeaway here be prepared for a battle. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
