Before reading the review that I intended to write, i just want to make clear that I actually like this cafe. Their latte is one of the good ones I have had in Melbourne and I quite like the bakery items and sandwiches they offer. having said that I just had their chai latte this morning and it was horrid! It was basically 5 cups of sugar and milk water. 5 cups may be an exaggeration but that 's how I felt drinking it. Goodbye to the 5 bucks I didn 't enjoy and will never see again!
We were looking forward to enjoying our brunch but there wasn’t anything exceptional with their food or service. We had Benedicts (salmon and bacon). The salmon was okay, though it was almost overcooked. Nothing special with the bacon. I would have given it a 4/5, but when we opened our poached eggs, it was hard boiled We gave feedback to the cashier, but she just smiled and not sure if she will pass it on to their team. Nice coffee and the best porridge I have ever tasted - Baked Apple Porridge. My friends had the thickly sliced Apricot & Date Banana Bread, Smashed Avo on Toast and the Buttermilk Hot Cake Stack. No one went away hungry, that is for sure! And, great prices too.
Great coffee, good food and the staff are friendly and helpful. We stopped in for a quick breakfast of Bacon Benedict to finish our interstate visit. The prices are fair and I would definetly visit again. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Coffee was great, brekky - not so good and a little on the expensive side for what you get. Definitely won't be eating here again, the cafe Jack and Daisys around the corner has much nicer food. ✌
