However, the server informed me that both dishes contained fish sauce and couldn't be modified since they were pre-prepared. Instead, I opted for the spicy green beans and tofu, adding some broccoli. My server assured me it could be made vegan, and I didn't have any concerns about it, so I decided to order it. It turned out to be absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it if you're in the area.
I've been a regular at this restaurant for many years, and I've always experienced exceptional meals. The food is outstanding and delicious—while it's not exactly cheap, considering its prime location in the heart of Jamaica Plain, the prices are quite reasonable. Charming little spot in the heart of JP. The food was quite good for the price, though not spectacular. The kimchi udon noodles were tasty but lacked heat, and while the fried veggie rolls were enjoyable, it was disappointing that there were only three. We had a table by the window, which was perfect for people-watching. Plus, being in the center of JP allowed us to grab some JP Licks afterward, which was a great treat!

Unfortunately, when we asked for our dishes to be made vegetarian (without fish or oyster sauce), they left out the sauce completely, resulting in quite bland food. I really enjoy Noodle Barn. They have a lovely outdoor patio, and the service is always friendly. While it may not be the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted (which I still haven't discovered in Boston), it’s quite good and definitely hits the spot when I'm craving it! I also appreciate how quickly they serve the food.
The service was friendly, and the menu offered a wide variety of options with generous portions. I tried the crispy pad Thai and really enjoyed it. It was a tad sweeter than my preference, but that's just my personal taste.
