Terrible experience, not worth the fuel and the wait. Tiny portions, when i took the box out the bag i thought is was empty, tiny small single fish £7.00 ! broke of about a third in batter, no fish inside ! the piece i was left with was about the length of my fork, looked like just a large fish finger. Fish fillets are cut down, you dont get a whole fillet. I would doubt if a trawler could legally land such a small fish ! from trawler to chip shop..........something fishy going on. The fish supper i bought £10.00 was a bit larger with a handful of chips. Portions are tiny and not worth the money, better value elsewhere. Way, way, way over priced.
Well known for best chippy in Forfar , we only visit on odd occasion when visiting relatives in the area . Usual very busy around 5pm when we went in we thought that’s strange, why only 2 people in the shop . Hung around for pre ordered food , then noticed they’re using bought in chips in a big plastic bag . They used to cook fresh cut chips . We got our food handed over with out a smile I might add . Got home to eat it it’s basically oven cooked chips !! You used to get offered a lemon on the fish if you order that . Not any more gone right down hill . We won’t be back
Called today for fish.,gluten free day,The haddock was beautiful and the batter crisp ,as you would expect from a proper chippie. Keep up the good work !!! Just sorry you have stopped opening at lunch time Thanks
Excellent fish and chips, fresh and non greasy, one of the best! Friendly, efficient service and welcoming atmosphere. Shop very clean and seem to pay attention to detail. Will definitely be back. Well done!

Long time customet, not been in a while. Sign of the times perhaps, Prices up alot, heinz Tartar as opposed to the prior tubs, no lemon, portions seem less. Quality still there, but changes noticeable.
Fantastic chipper We live locally and never had a bad fish supper yet! Hot fresh beautiful white creamy haddock. Crisp hot chips. Superb! Thank you!
The food is good. Seems to be quite fresh. Although, the portions are tiny, especially for the price. You may end up being hungry and poor.
Truly awful . Chips were soggy and undercooked. Mock chop was soaked in grease and inedible. Never again will I use this place

A total shock we ordred fish and chips twice, took it out to eat and it was discusting old fish and old oil wont be back,
