From the façade with it's stacked logs and faux snowcapped roof, to the dimly lit dining room with peanut shells on the floor, and of course the walls adorned with old black and white photographs of lumberjacks and pioneers conquering the frontier. No idea what to expect if you 've never been here. Visited this old-school neighborhood steakhouse with a rustic vibe on Valentine's Day, hoping for a cozy solo dinner. Love the tradition of peeling peanuts and tossing the shells on the ground. However, the experience was dampened by service issues. They didn't allow dining in the bar area because of the holiday so I ordered a beer and waiting to be called.
