Wonderful menu all of tasty offerings. It was a beautiful day so we dined al fresco. We finally got a waiter to the table after a much too long wait. Jackson was a very nice waiter, unfortunately he was not familiar with the menu and could not answer our questions and throughout the meal he never refreshed our drinks or checked on us enough. We started with the Philly Cheeseteak Rolls that were quite tasty with a brown mustard and sweet chili sauce, we would have liked a bit more sauce than a smear across the plate. Took a few minutes for a waiter to show up. Drinks came quickly. We order an appetizer at the same time as our meal. After delivering drinks our waiter hung out at the hostess stand playing on his phone and talking up the hostess. Appetizer came well before the meal (a BIG plus). Their Remoulade that comes with the fried Okra is INSANELY hot. Dinner did take a while to arrive. A swing and a miss on the Cole slaw. Looks great…it isn’t. Look, Cole slaw has ONLY these ingredients: Green Cabbage Purple Cabbage Carrots DUKES mayonnaise Pickles Salt Pepper Maybe a little sugar Whatever you added it ruined it. Fish and chips is GREAT! It was our first time eating here and it was great! We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. We got the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls for an appetizer. I had the Chimichurri flat iron steak with white cheddar mashed potatoes and crispy brussel sprouts. My husband had the alligator po' boy, everything was so good. Our waiter, Jailen, was great! It was truly an excellent experience.
All the burgers were very tasty! The staff were very accommodating to our friend who was having stomach issues. They let him sit with us without asking him to order anything when we explained the situation. They even had some hot tea options that really soothed his stomach. 100/10 service! First of all GO VOLS! Second this restaurant was great. We had a big group and they handled it flawlessly. The server made excellent recommendations I had the smoked burger (still drooling) and they have fun deals. We went when it was half bottle wine day.
We enjoyed a great lunch here. I really liked the fried green tomatoes. Very enjoyable atmosphere and service.
Really good menu and food. Service was a little harried on a Sunday evening, but it worked out.
