This place has a simple menu, but it is delicious food. We have never been disapointed! We have grabbed food here to go when we are in a real hurry to get to appointments. It is a healthier alternative than other fast food choices. It takes a little longer but as I said, it is fairly quick. We love to stop here to unwind and relax while travelling through because it is a warm, cozy and comfortable environment. Love it! Healthy salads are ready to eat, they are fresh! Ready to go foods, paninis and wraps are fresh, no worries! They will press wraps and buns until they are toasty hot and melty. The and deserts are simple, but delicious! Our family and friends frequently visited Nourish during its short existence in Kenora. The restaurant has been replaced with "Herb'N'Fuel", a new take-out and eat-in bistro, specializing in made-to-order pitas and fresh juices.We visited Herb'N'Fuel last week. Our party of three custom-ordered a bacon pita, a falafel pita and a tuna pita (there are a variety of veggies and sauces to choose from)--all were OK. My daughter ordered a citrus beet juice (WAY too sour!), my husband chose a canned drink and I did not ask for a beverage.Overall, our experience was "Nyah". I have had lunch at this restaurant three times and each visit was fantastic! The sandwiches are incredibly fresh, come in generous portions, and are reasonably healthy. The egg salad on pumpernickel was particularly outstanding. I also tried the falafel wrap on two occasions and it was consistently amazing. My wife loved the salad she had each time and thought it was exceptional. We both enjoyed their decaf Americanos, which we found to be the best we've ever had. Nourish also has a great yoga studio upstairs. Overall, a fantastic place with the highest recommendation. The staff are notably friendly and efficient.
I really like this café. It is sunny and warm, in a very COLD climate! There is lots of local art on the walls, as well as tea-drinking thingies to buy. The staff are quietly attentive and the coffee is very good. Clean bathrooms, and freely available drinking water add up to a place you want to sit and enjoy. This is the place to go for a coffee or lunch date. The food is affordable, and they have a very dynamic menu with lots of options for everyone, especially vegetarians. Smoothies, teas, wraps, soups, and desserts are always perfect and the staff are great! Love the atmosphere and will return again and again!
Very nice cafe. It has the hipster feel that you find in the cafes in the big cities. I enjoyed their coffee and their sandwiches. The staff is also quite friendly.One word of advice though, if you pay cash, it does not provide a receipt. I needed it to expense as it was a business trip but oh well.Cheers!
not care about their job and were constantly late or calling out. The manager was always rude and disrespectful to both employees and customers. The restaurant was always understaffed and the work environment was chaotic. I would not recommend working at Pita Pit to anyone.
