Great wine and oysters. A short stop for a drink and something to eat. We opted to go for a local wine (easy choice) with some helpful guidance from the waiter. After a little confusion (my fault) we had 2 glasses of wine and then a whole bottle! We then decided to try the oysters. They went very well with the local wine we'd chosen. (Red Grain Bleu 2022). It's a really pleasant place to stop at and one of the first you see when walking into Saint Emilion. Take care with times though as we went back (to use the loo) only to find it closed at 2pm like a lot of St Emilion appears to do. We arrive at 3pm to eat and they tell us that the kitchen is closed and that the only thing they offer is a meat and cheese plate. The surprise comes when they make us pay 25 euros for a rather lean dish. I've never been as scammed as tourist. They opened at 6 p.m. but no possibility to eat before 7:15 p.m., we wanted to wait and we took some drinks. We asked for bread for our 2-year-old child but they tell us they don't have enough bread for the service.
