On May 8th, a friend and I decided to go on a foodie adventure. This restaurant in Québec City, Ô6e Sens, invites patrons to come in and let their non-sight senses guide them in a journey of culinary exploration. Whenever the servers came to our table they would announce that they were there before anything else. This was really nice because it never felt like you were being sneaked up on. After a while, we actually got really good at knowing where our servers were just based on the sound of their footsteps! And they were all so patient with us. I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The dinner consisted of a nine-course meal, starting with a soup and bread, followed by three appetizers, three main dishes, and three desserts. We opted for the wine pairing, which complemented each course perfectly. Our waiter, Christopher, was fantastic; he guided us to our table at a relaxed pace and carefully explained each dish, ensuring we felt comfortable throughout the meal. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the waitstaff were incredibly kind. It’s an ideal setting for a dinner with a friend or a group of friends. The unique aspect is that the dining room is completely dark, and the waiters are blind. Throughout the meal, you have the fun challenge of guessing what you're eating, and afterward, they reveal what each dish was. I highly recommend this place to anyone who gets the chance to go! Another great feature is that they adjust the menu to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Overall, it was an incredible experience!!
Amazing. It was definitely something I would call a 5 star experience. You are in absolute darkness and cannot see your hands in front of your face. That means no one can see you either and you can just forget everything and relax and enjoy the food. It's more expensive than most meals but I took my fiance there for her birthday and she loved it. I had an amazing experience in the Capital City! Dining in the dark truly enhanced my appreciation for the food. The customer service was outstanding, and the overall atmosphere was incredible. Interesting experience. Eating in the total dark is a unique experience. At least one lifetime experience. Better in small group of 4. Also, if there is something you defenetly don't want to eat, let the server know since the whole experience is to know what you ate only after you have eaten it.
Great staff, great experience, great food, great everything. If you want to have awesome dinner experience it's the place to go, you won't regret it!
