It's wonderful to have a specialty shop just down the block! I've ordered dinner several times when I've been busy all day and didn't have time to cook. I love their pasta dishes, and they feature daily specials along with a variety of delicious sandwiches. Their coffee and homemade chocolate chip cookies are absolutely addictive. During the holidays, they also offer some delicious pies! The wine selection is impressive, and Josh always recommends fantastic bottles. I recently moved to the area and discovered this amazing restaurant nearby! First of all, the food is fantastic, and the portion sizes are generous. Each meal is enough to provide me with two or three servings, especially since I tend to get full quickly. Beyond the delicious food, this place has everything you could need in one convenient stop: wine, beer, liquor, THC drinks, coffee, snacks, treats, fresh meat, deli items, pasta sauces—you name it! This is a great hidden gem that my wife and I randomly found a couple months back. It's tucked away on a side street near the reservoir, but we've been coming for lunch when we're in the mood for a good sandwich. So far we've tried a few different wraps/sandwiches and all of them have been delicious. They also have a good selection of beers (so far, this is the only place in Weehawken or Union City that I've found that sells Duvel). They also have some food/grocery items, many of which are organic and/or high quality brands. This is an awesome spot to have in the neighborhood you can't beat it if you're looking for a quick lunch or some beer/wine.
Solid neighborhood bodega offering fresh sandwiches, bagels, fresh deli takeout, upscale Italian snacks, beers and wines. They also have Illy Italian coffee if you want to start your day right. Big fan of the freshly made sandwiches, esp the Murray Hill. Always ask if they have any daily specials the BBQ brisket is often there and shouldn't be missed! Nothing but great things to say about this shop. Just moved to the area and naturally I was looking for a go-to place and this was it. They had everything from deli foods to alcohol and snacks. I was able to get a large coffee with a breakfast sandwich for less than $7 and in my book that's a success. Not to mention their sandwiches are actually phenomenal as well as their coffee. Lastly, the shop is super friendly and they have great vibes. 10/10 would recommend!
Admittedly I have only had the French dip sandwich here, but considering I've had it three times now and don't feel the need to try anything else, it's incredibly highly recommended. The portion is huge and there is enough au jus for the whole sandwich. If you're ever stuck on what to order (everything on the menu looks delicious), order the French dip. You will not be sorry.
We just moved to the area. This place was an amazing find. We find ourselves always going back. If it's for the delicious food or the great drink selections we love it. Dog friendly front is a plus. Staff is so nice you love saying hello. I highly recommend eating here and making multiple visits. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
This is the best Cobb salad in New Jersey! The owner is hilarious. I highly recommend this place—10 out of 10! It really turned my rainy night around. Kudos to this amazing spot!
