I can applaud the servers for handling a large, loud group of people with such ease. The food however, was both a hit and miss for me. I had always came for brunch but decided to come for dinner on a Saturday night. There was over an hour wait but we decided to wait. I love when you go to a local place and it lives up to the social media aesthetics hype. I came to Oasis with a friend to have drinks and dinner. The vibe is 100 percent Mediterranean by the water relaxation. Decor is amazing and drink and food presentation were great. You'll definitely get the picture you want here. I 've been here a few times I do admit that things have changed drastically throughout the years. Drinks are always quite sub par here however my friend got a dirty glass which was not very appealing. The charcuterie board could use a bit of help, maybe some crackers instead of four bread sticks.... Despite that minor detail, it was presented beautifully. It's a NO for me moving forward. I honestly dont know if there's been a change in management or what, things have definitely gone downhill. I went today to pick up 5 slices of cake and 1 slice of pound cake. The 1 star is for the pound cake it was tolerable. Upon arrival the customer service was HORRIBLE no one acknowledged me, as if the restaurant was crowded in which it wasn't (not a problem). Wishing it was better! This cafe is absolutely gorgeous! It really makes you feel like you are in an oasis! The drinks and deserts were phenomenal! We came here solely for drinks and desert so it hit that avenue very well! The part that is really lacking is service! Such a beautiful venue for small or big events! We used the private space upstairs which allowed natural sunlight for beautiful pictures. The staff were accommodating. George helped me plan the event, made good suggestions and was graciously accommodating to changes. I provided the flowers and leaves and left it up to them to decorate according to a picture I sent. If you grow up in Queens you know Oasis cafe. This is the only cafe that?s always open til late. It?s been a century since I last time visit this place, me and my friends are surprised to find they renovated and look so upscale! Definitely a nice place to eat and hangout with your love ones. The tiramisu was too sweet for me and the crepes weren?t that great either? I had the white chocolate mocha?didn?t taste like anything. 5 star for opening up til late and decor. One of my favorite spots. However, I have mostly ordered from this place through Uber eats. The raspberry chocolate mouse is by far my favorite it's such a rich, creamy dessert that's just perfect for sharing. I also really love the chicken kebabs. The portions are so huge, that I usually have enough for two meals when I order one. I have tried to get seating inside. Delicious ???? I highly recommend this place to satisfy your sweet tooth. The staff was extremely friendly and though I haven't been to Greece yet I heard it spoken all around me. Felt very family friendly. Enjoy!
