This restaurant is clean and has plenty of tables with chess games to keep people entertained while enjoying their ice cream. We arrived late and unfortunately they were out of mint chocolate chip and vanilla s'mores flavors. My nieces and nephews love coming here to play chess. The ice creams are rich and tasty. Make sure to try their s'mores, although they were sold out when we visited. This is our favorite spot for ice cream when we're in Chicago. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The atmosphere is clean and roomy. We will definitely be returning.
I absolutely adore this ice cream shop, always have. It's our family's favorite spot for delicious ice cream. I have been a loyal customer since I was a child, and it's disheartening to see it becoming increasingly empty each year. I particularly enjoy the indoor tables, as some of them have chess sets which provide entertainment. Although the prices may be a bit high, it's understandable as they need to keep their small business afloat.
Well, you can't screw up ice, not impressed by the service. There were about 8 girls working, there seems no guidance or willingness to work, We had to wait for 20 min on two pots of ice when it was hardly busy and bathrooms were very dirty.

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious! It is always fresh, cold, and creamy. It is the perfect treat for the winter holidays.
The staff at this restaurant is very nice and friendly. They are also very helpful. Oh, and the ice was good as well.
Had a soft serve bowl of vanilla ice cream. Found out they stopped serving chocolate soft serve a while ago.
