I had a large shake today at 2pm. It?s now 9pm and I still feel full and satisfied. Yet, I want another? and another? and another! There?s something about an Oberweis chocolate shake made with real ice cream that dominates all others in the World of Shakes. If there was a Battle of the Shakes, these would come out victorious. Even though I still don?t think I pronounce the name ?Oberweis? correctly, I risk my friend?s taunts to go there over and over again. I really want to give this location 5 stars, but one night I saw the ?open? sign lit up and pulled up into the Drive-thru to learn they were really closed. I them pulled up to the drive-thru window to let them know the open sign was still...
I love this chain, this location!! I've been coming here off and on for nearly 10+ years and I love it as much as I did the very first time I stepped in the door!! For the uninitiated there is something special about the moment you step foot in the door of an Oberweis store! You smell the waffle cones and the various ice cream flavors, it is beyond intoxicating!! I have always enjoyed a few staple items like a Strawberry Malt or a Hot Fudge Sundae and as you sit down and enjoy it with your family the smells overwhelm you with the desire to take more home with you, which I always do!! The Blueberry Pie ice cream is awesome!!!! I recommend this place as highly as possible!!! I love Oberweis!!!...
I visited the rolling meadows location on Sunday March 12th. I was in the drive thru line from 8:44pm until 9:10pm. A guy walked past me with cones, Assuming he was making a cut off in the line at the last car. But no I waited at the speaker and received no response. A girl looked out the window and said they were closed over the speaker. No service for myself and all the people behind me. At least 3-4 others. Was a terrible wait, for nothing. I drove up to Dundee rd for my sundae and got fantastic service. Algonquin rd not even worth a single star. Dundee rd 5+ stars.
I am a fan of the Oberweis products in which I tried to go, but when my son and I arrived there, the door was closed, so a grumpy person came out with a beard who yelled at me and complained that I didn't see the sign on the ground terrible attitude, really bad customer service.
It was my first time there? So I can't say so much for the first time, but I think you'll like it very much? it has a lot of things I think everyone would like if you don't just get a banana boat You can sometimes even buy for later in a container they also have and much more
I went with my children to record a video for milk day and the employees were very rude. in the end I lost the desire to record the video and buy ice cream for the children. I prefer to go to a place where they have better customer service
Only location that has the peanut butter cookie dough flavor. Wish they didn?t run out of it very often and wish more locations would have the flavor as it not a limited time flavor.
We were a few times and every time my daughter wanted to order a soft milkshake they didn't have. They're very frivolous.
Large ice cream with high prices. 2x most other places. Very good.
