This was our third time visiting O'Bryan's, and once again, we were amazed by the outstanding service and delicious food. You must try the mozzarella sticks, which are made from scratch and absolutely delightful. The fried chicken sandwich is incredible—think of it as a Chick-fil-A sandwich, but even better. I highly recommend it. The salads are also noteworthy, featuring fresh, crisp greens and flavorful dressings. For side dishes, I suggest the sweet potato fries or onion rings. Just a heads up: the portions here are quite large, so it might be a good idea to share dishes or come prepared to take some leftovers home.
I had an outstanding dining experience with top-notch food. The buffalo fried chicken sandwich ranks as one of the best I’ve ever had. My only wish is that there was a parking lot for guests. Residents on Washington and 8th streets often have to park several blocks away, which can be tough when managing small children and other belongings in different weather conditions. The food and atmosphere are fantastic—clearly why it’s so popular—but this does pose some inconvenience for the neighborhood. Despite that, it remains a great spot to eat, and the fish and chips are definitely a must-try.
I visited this restaurant with my family tonight and ordered the chicken tenders, which were outstanding—truly the best I've ever tasted! Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals. We chose to dine on the terrace, which was delightful. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting, and everything is impeccably clean. The service was also top-notch. I highly recommend checking this place out!
O'Bryon's Grill offers a relaxed bar and grill atmosphere with a menu full of house-made dishes that elevate it beyond typical bar food. They have a solid drink selection and it's an excellent spot to catch a game. The bar staff at O'Bryon's Grill are especially fast and friendly, making the experience even better.

Chris, the bartender, was outstanding! We came in from out of town to catch the OSU game—Go BUCKEYES!!! We stayed for quite some time, and she made sure we were well taken care of. Everyone on the staff was super friendly. The wings and tater tots were delicious too! Also, the bathrooms were spotless!
I tried the Obryons burger and cheese sticks, and both were amazing. It was also Mule Night with special drink deals, and the KY Mule definitely met my expectations.
The wings are amazing, and the ambiance and service make this my favorite restaurant in Newport!
I initially visited for the rewards but ended up staying for the outstanding service!
