We had a wonderful experience at Ocean following the Van Gogh exhibit. We arrived early to our reservation, and were promptly seated 10 minutes after arrival. Superb service. Our needs were met with joyful pleasure and was overall a fabulous service experience. The food was outstanding. I would love to give them 5 stars but my husband ordered the Filet Minon medium well and it was definitely well done. The sushi I ordered was aaamazing! And the ocean martini is one of the best drinks I have ever had! So if you are going to a seafood restaurant, order the seafood ???? Also the Greek salad comes with fried feta on top and oh. My. God. Perfection!
whoa. Gelbschwanz schmeckte viel zu "fischig" und die sogenannten Pastrami-Shortribs waren fettige Pastrami. Beide waren 30 Dollar. Raub. Wir gaben dem Barkeeper unser Feedback (wir saßen an der Bar) und er bemühte sich nicht, "es richtig zu machen". Ich werde nicht zurück sein. Das Esszimmer war hübsch ... das Parken war schrecklich in der Nachbarschaft.
Die Getränke waren gut. Menü ist begrenzt. Eine Person mochte das Schweinefleisch nicht. Der andere dachte, die Pastrami-Rippen seien fett und kein Wert. Der Burger war gut. What a great meal in Birmingham. This was a date night for us and finally some normalcy and refinement. It felt great to dress up, have great service, and amazing tasting food. The seafood tower, seafood pot (Thai flavors), and salmon were all cooked perfectly. This was a great evening enjoying the food scene
