Wouldn’t let me put no stars !! Do not eat from this place me and my pregnant partner went for a meal and the food was absolutely disgraceful all our food was left and sent back to the kitchen the meat was slimy like it had been left rotting in a container somewhere even had a really bad smell ! The waitress came over and asked us what was wrong we explained and they told us we still had to pay as they brought the food to us we paid nearly £50 for this meal which was taken back to the kitchen and we was still charged alls they kept saying was it’s not in our policy …. I would avoid this place at all cost absolutely riddled and filthy never in my life have a came across a place like this seri...
Slightly disappointing experience at OK Diner. We have been loyal customers for years and usually enjoy our meals from here without any issues. However, our recent order of Chicken Curry and Shredded Beef with boiled rice did not meet our expectations. Despite requesting the chicken curry to be extra hot and spicy, it arrived bland and lacking flavor. The delivery was also delayed by 15 minutes, making us wait for a total of an hour and fifteen minutes. We were disappointed to find that a powdered Chinese curry sauce from our local supermarket had more flavor and heat than the curry sauce we received. This might be the last time we order from this establishment.
We’ve just had a family meal 20 of us for a surprise birthday The service was a little slow Lisa and George couldn’t have worked any harder as there was 2 big parties in, the food was well worth the wait, it took longer than expected but because of that made our night more special as we all were able to catch up , the talking never stopped and the empty plates showed how much we all enjoyed the food As the takeaway is always busy it does sometimes impact in the restaurant but the food is always freshly cooked, always hot and always worth the wait Thank you for a good night
Brilliant little restaurant that you wouldn’t really know was a restaurant from the front!As it looks like a Takeaway. The food was outstanding. Great size potions and something on the menu for everyone to chose. We were the only table in the restaurant but the takeaway must of been busy as the only fault we could find was that we had to wait ages for our food to come out and waited along time in between our corses. As there were no other tables it must of been due to the takeaway.Which was a shame really but the children got a little anxious with waiting as did we all.

I waited for 30 minutes for a takeout order and observed the staff looking confused. The food was ready but sat on the side getting cold for over 5 minutes before being given to a delivery driver. Another customer who ordered by phone was waiting longer than me and eventually received his order, only to return 4 minutes later because something was forgotten. Of the 3 items I ordered, one was incorrect and all the food was cold and unappetizing when I got home. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again and advise others not to waste their money here.
After a disappointing visit last year, we decided to give this restaurant a second chance. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed yet again with poor service and an excessive wait for our main course. It seems that they are struggling to manage both the dine-in and takeaway services. There was only one staff member attending to the tables, bringing out food, and taking phone orders. After 40 minutes, we decided to pay for our meal and leave. We will not be returning, which is a shame because the food was actually quite good.
We have love OK diner and supported sit before and during covid. Last order was delivered 2.5 hours after delivery delisted being told 45-60 mins. So have avoided for a while. Tonight ordered explained issue last time food was ordered approx 45 mins… 1 main course missing. 24 mins later still waiting… one meal eaten other person eaten starters and half of delivered main. Called and food cannot be refunded to card Refund in cash received not taking into consideration person 1 has not eaten!! Appalling!! What is going on?
We had the evening banquet. The food was really tasty and more than we could manage. The excellent staff gave us ‘doggy bags ‘ for home. We had a very comfortable, pleasant evening with 2 friends and plan to go again.

What a great find value for money friendly staff. Superb food selection very clean restaurant. Will be returning with my sister at weekend can’t wait
