Pros: Location is really close to where I was staying, with plenty of parking. They serve Blue Bell ice cream, if that's your fav ice cream, with plenty of flavors to choose from, as well as waffle cones, many different mix-ins, and several sundae choices. It was clean and comfortable inside.Cons: I had a cookie, and it was hard, in a way that made me think it was old. I had a cold brew coffee with almond milk, and it was really strong (that's actually a pro), but the cold brew tasted acidic, which is not something you typically find in a cold brew; it made me wonder if it was just cooled down hot coffee.I didn't have a problem with the staff but I only interacted with one person, and she wa...
This is a charming little coffee shop with a nice sofa and a creative menu. We stopped by in the morning for some coffee, and all the staff were friendly and laid-back. The guy at the register was particularly engaging and informative, though he did come off a bit pushy at times. My group decided to go for coffee instead of ice cream, and although I didn’t order anything, I kind of wished I had. The menu looked standard, but it seems they have the barista skills to whip up anything you might want. We returned in the evening for ice cream, and while the coffee prices were fairly typical, the ice cream was on the pricey side. All fresh ingredients, homemade brownies, homemade whipped cream and more calories than you need to worry about! I had theBrownie Sundae with Granola Sprinkles and Hot Fudge. Fabulous! These friends make a great cup of coffee. The strawberry cake pop was super too. I asked the sweet, experienced barista to make me her favorite drink. She made me a cold brew white chocolate toasted marshmallow with whole milk. I can still taste the coffee and the whole drink is delicious. Her favorite cake pop was the strawberry so I decided to try that as well.I highly recommend this shop if vacationing in the Beavers Bend area. It's off the main drag so keep going and find this gem. Super cute small shop. Ice cream was great can’t go wrong with bluebell ice cream. As a coffee person, I would not recommend ordering. I order an iced caramel macchiato and was given a latte. I even asked the girl if this was a macchiato since it was a coffee you enjoy in layers. I was told they “pre stir” the drink. Not the best coffee. Still I would comeback maybe but just for the ice cream NOT the coffee.
The staff was incredibly unwelcoming. We waited over 10 minutes in line just to place our order, and it felt like the employees were completely disorganized. Most concerning was that one of the workers was using his bare hands to scoop coffee beans right after scratching himself and touching his head. It was quite unsanitary. I do not recommend this place and will never come back!
We loved this place. Everyone was super friendly and there were lots of choices. I had the brownie sundae with chocolate ice cream topped with hot fudge and butterfinger. It was yummy! My husband had the chocolate milkshake. He said it was good and thick. We would definitely recommend if you want something sweet.
Seems to be a popular place. Ice cream flavors are many. The pistachio, sea salt caramel and rocky road were delicious. This is a charming coffee and ice cream shop! The banana split is absolutely amazing! We're definitely going to get one more before we head home. I also love their coffee-related jokes—they're really fun!
