Hands down, the best taco place in Ottawa. I’ve been venturing to different taco places across town, and this one is truthfully my favourite.The food is fresh and so full of flavour. I’ve come here twice and have had 6 different taco meats, my favourite has to be the Tuna the Al Pastor.The one thing that I really appreciate about here is that I have a gluten dairy allergy most the time when places here that I miss out on the majority of the toppings. but here, they make most their sauces toppings gluten dairy free. They’re also the only place that I’ve found that offers gluten free churros for dessert.Will definitely be back!
This is the best Mexican restaurant I 've ever been to! Extremely flavourful, beautiful presentation, and oh so satisfying. Vegetarian options were great. The bean dip was so rich and thick. The server was so down to earth and enjoyable. She worked so hard and really took good care of us for our meal. I have bookmarked this place as a 'must go again ' for the next time I 'm in town! Bought the hot sauce too, well made and flavourful with a mild heat.Dietary restrictions: Accidentally ordered something with an allergen, they swapped it out no problem. Great service and very accommodating.
Reasonably priced with delicious food. My husband and I enjoyed the taco platter ($24) which allowed us to choose three types of tacos from a variety of options. We selected steak, pork, and chicken, all of which were tasty. The platter also came with flavorful Mexican rice, spicy refried black beans, and a side salad for $5. The restaurant had a cozy, Mexican-themed atmosphere with high bar stools. Our waitress was efficient, but lacked friendliness and did not engage in extra conversation.
I have a poultry allergy, but they had plenty of options for me, such as pulled pork and steak. The chef took extra care to ensure my food was safe for me to eat by serving everything separately. The customer service was excellent. I recently attended a friend's birthday dinner at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. They also offer gluten free beer, margaritas, and more. My absolute favourite Mexican food in Ottawa.It's a small restaurant but the atmosphere inside and out is amazing and their staff is always fantastic.99% is gluten free and are super safe with food handling. I have never been sick from eating there.It is an absolute must try!Dietary restrictions: 99% gluten free and the menu states which items have gluten. At the time of writing this, there were only two on the menu.
Not very good Mexican food if you're looking for authentic. The chicken was dry, nothing was seasoned. I asked for the sauces on the side so I could taste them individually and both lacked seasoning. Way too much money for the quality, in my opinion.Wheelchair accessibility: Does not seem very accessible. Location is small and crowded and the seating outdoors is on decently rough terrain.
This has to be the best place to go for tacos! The tacos are simply excellent. There are so many combinations to choose from and each individual taco is a work of art--in flavour and in presentation. The restaurant is so cute, with bright colours, little nooks, and inside/outside options. The excellent food combined with the cheerful ambience makes for a delightful meal.
Service was Slow: Took 45 minutes to get our tacos, when they arrived the orders were mixed up and the food was warm.Lacked Flavour: The meat was dry and not much flavour, we tried 5 different flavours and weren’t impressed with any of them. The food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty! Although the portions are a bit small, the flavors are top-notch and I would give it a 10 out of 10 rating for taste.
