Let me preface this by saying that we used to live in the UK where we were able to get really good, authentic Lebanese food and that my husband missed it dearly when we moved back stateside. Old City Cafe Grill fills the void completely. Their food isdelicious. We love the sandwiches and the hummus. This place ticks all the boxes for authentic Lebanese food. If you're lookingfor thick, Greek style pita, don't come here. You'll only get Lebanese style pita which is thin (and what we look for when wewant Lebanese sandwiches). We are repeat customers and are so happy that a restaurant like this exists in Union County.
let me prevent this by saying that we were used in Britain, where we were able to get really good, authentic Lebanese foods and that my man was very missing when we moved back to the state. old city cafe grill fills the empty completely. you eat is delicious. we love the sandwiches and the hummus. this place tick all boxes for authentic Lebanese foods. if you're looking for thicker, Greek art pita, don't come here. they only get Lebanese style pita that is thin (and what we are looking for if we want Lebanese sandwiches). we repeat customers and are so happy that such a restaurant exists in union county.
Omg this place is so amazing! I was walking with my fiancé looking for a spot to eat and I saw Lebanese and my eyes lit up! The service is exceptional. Everyone there is kind, courteous, and efficient. The owner even greets people at the door and treats the restaurant like his living room.Now the food…to die for. So much flavor. I was very pleased with this place. Def comin back
Love the food and the owners here! Always very clean and delicious food! Some of my favorites are the chicken shawarma with garlic sauce and Armenian salad...so yummy! I have been to Old City many times and it is always a great time. Lively vibe with authentic, Lebanese specialties.Highly recommended especially if you are looking for a change of pace with high quality, authentic Lebanese food.
