cool ambiente and friendly waiter. Unfortunately, eating and drinking were a real hit and miss! the sweet pack was mainly salat with only one tomato and a puppy game of hummus, the sliders were burned under season, the black hack dry and burned. they ran out of kartoffel, but didn't tell us until my teller didn't arrive at all. the hot chicken sandwich was very fat. what my old herald drank was very good, but the **** mary might have missed something like celery salt. the dirty martini was not drinkable as it was mainly made with the sole of olive juice, but no olives in it. that was waiting was super long, which we wouldn't think if that had been good. it was disappointing, because we reall...
After a harrowing trip on I-70, we found ourselves approaching Collinsville at dinnertime. I searched for a restaurant with a patio and this was first. My cocktail was delightful, but most importantly my salad was made with fresh greens. I had a mahi wrap that was also fresh and tasty. The patio was on the east side of the restaurant and there was abundant shade. My husband’s beer, “The Weekend Addition,” is a good wheat beer. The Pub Salad gets two thumbs up. The bacon ranch salad dressing is delightfully tangy. For what was a last minute desperation stop for dinner, this turned out to be a wonderful meal. If we are in the area again, we will plan on eating at The Old Herald Brewery.
Our group sampled a few different beers and mixed drinks, as well as ate lunch. I had a pretzel and wings. They were amazing. Great sauces and dips for both. Service was great. They had a huge party of about 40 people in one of the rooms. The restaurant was pretty busy at lunch, but our server was super attentive. She had 3 tables on the patio and possibly other tables inside, yet took care of us like we were the only ones. Definitely go to the Old Herald for great food, drinks, and service.
Met family here after work. We took forever to order and our server was understanding and not at all pushy despite how busy they were! Thank you!!!!Food was Good, but I definitely thought the Nashville hot chicken sandwich would have a kick to it. It did not! This place was super clean and friendly! Love the mixture of vibes and the staff was always checking up on us. The food is terrific and love their blend of alcohol. The outside made me think this was a fancy brewery, but had chilled vibes once I walked in. Loved the beer cheese for the pretzel and the limoncello. ??
This restaurant was fantastic! The staff was wonderful. I had a brief rain shower while sitting on the terrace, but it didn't bother me at all. The food was delicious, and I can't wait for the alcohol ice bar they used to have at this location!
The atmosphere and food for Sunday brunch is very nice, but the **** Marys were undrinkable. We tried both types they offer and they were just horrible. I even had them re-make the “spicy” one and it was flavor-less.

We're going on a trip, and this is definitely the place to be! It has made a strong impression all around! It's the best brewery I've ever visited!
