TLDR: Amazing ambience, delicious food, good service. We, party of three, came on New Year’s Eve. We had called around 30 minutes prior to our planned arrival time, at around 5:30pm. The hostess found us a table for three, but we would have to vacate by 7:30pm. That was fine by us, so we took it up. Upon walking into an old school building, the restaurant is directly on the right. Inside, the environment closely resembled that of a school classroom; for example, the floor was tiled. I quite liked the classy incorporation of old-school elements into a modern, cozy restaurant. The hostess and our waitress were superb. They were friendly, had big smiles on their faces, and looked like they want...
We arrived right as the restaurant opened, and it quickly became crowded, so I highly recommend making a reservation. The service was outstanding! We had our 2-year-old with us, and the staff brought a booster seat to our table right away. After we placed our order, they offered to prioritize our daughter's meal, which was very considerate. The food was exceptional, and the drinks were fantastic as well. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
Amazing place with great food, great drinks and great service! This is a must for those who drive from Calgary to Vancouver. Also, you love the way they used the former school building again; and was surprised to be in a room with very high ceilings. A nice note is that the restaurant has invested in noise-damping acoustic panels on these ceilings, so it is not like echo eyes like most other restaurants. Great place!
We arrived after an 11-hour drive through the snow of Vancouver in Revelstoke and were happy to find this warm and welcoming food! We had no reservation, but there was room for us at the bar (the place was packed- if you can make a reservation) the bartender has whipped up some excellent cocktails, and the whole food we ordered was delicious and unique - definitely not standard pub tariff. We came here for dinner the other night and first off it was a lot higher class than I expected, however there is still no dress code, as most people were still in their ski attire. I got the bison and it was superb. Very tender and our waitress was very kind and attended to us quickly. It is pricey food but the flavors are really good.
We visited on the May long weekend. Great vibe and the menu is awesome. I wanted to try everything on the menu! Settled for sharing several appetizers, all of them were delicious. Great selection of drinks, especially cocktails for those inclined. Good beer selection too. Family friendly and the kids loved their meals.
We were warmly welcomed by a gracious hostess upon our arrival. Our server was energetic and well-informed, adding to the experience. The restaurant has a nice upscale casual atmosphere. It’s a great reminder that it’s never too late to learn something new!
This is a wonderful historical venue, originally a school building. Be prepared to experience the aroma of the old brick architecture. The menu is impressive, with a wide selection of beers. I highly recommend the calamari appetizer. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Neat ambience and building, didn’t have a reservation (Tuesday 6.30pm) but were seated at the bar. Pretty good comfort food, shared a chicken parm and a side salad. The salad dressing was tad on the sweet side. No other complaints.
