Been patronizing this restaurant since 2011. I travel around the world for work but when visiting family, friends and colleagues come to NJ I have elected to bring them here because of the consistent customer service, sangria and picadas. The first young lady that was our sever excellent but at some point during our lunch we noticed she went to tend to the bar. My colleague doesn’t not drink alcohol and I was driving so we ordered a strawberry lemonade and a mint lemonade that were too sour and tart so we needed water after that. Definitely not worth the food , over priced slow staff , didn’t even wanna give napkins . $18.00 for a bad margarita. Lots of beautiful women working there and older men getting there drink on with fancy cars . I’ve been to places like this before and you don’t go for the food . For a chicken soup , 4 bad shrimp and some rice and beans with 2 drinks over $100 … if I’m gonna eat in the hood I expect hood prices, I would never take my family here or go back here again .
The garlic clams as an appetizer are the best! The dishes are large with good presentation and variety of flavors. The margaritas on the rocks are very delicious and during the week they have promotions like their happy hour. Good family atmosphere during the day but at night it's more for adults! Highly recommended!
It’s a little piece of Costa Rica in the US, there’s nothing better than feel at home and enjoy with the Fam we had such and amazing time with the karaoke night. All the waitresses were incredible friendly with everybody during all the time that’s the CR vibe I was missing . Food was 10/10!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I order gallos de salchichón through Uber and the restaurant forgot to pack the salad that goes with the gallos I called them and they told be for me to go and pick it up. I told the lady on the phone that I working and that is the reason I order through Uber and she hang up the phone
The food was decent, and they have someone managing the parking lot. Sundays feature karaoke, which is more geared towards adults. I brought my kids along, but they struggled with the loud music. Also, gratuity is included on the bill. On a positive note, the place was very clean.
My rice beans seemed rush were not good. The tostones were not all the way fried. It took 45 minutes for those 3 things. The plate was thrown on my table after being late. Not a good experience
