Love stopping by here while shopping. It's the perfect little sweet treat. I love how well organized and colorful all their macarons are behind the glass. There's usually never a line since it's a stand alone kiosk right outside of Zara located on the top floor. I typically get the box of 7 for $16 which is pricy but worth it to me for the quality of the macarons. They aren't crunchy or crumbly like others I've had that fall apart easily. They're soft and moist! I usually share with my husband and when we split them in half to share flavors we never make a mess like we have in the past with harder, less fresh ones. Our favorite flavors are the salted caramel, red velvet, and fruity pebbles!...
I arrived just after 11 a.m. on a Sunday. After confirming with an employee that they were open, I placed my order. However, the employee gave me a look that suggested I was a major inconvenience to her. I waited for a few minutes, but it became clear that she wasn't going to start my order anytime soon, even though I was the only customer. So, I decided to cancel my order and leave.
I will always get my macarons from this place! The service is friendly and the macarons are delicious! I don’t mind spending a bit extra because the flavors are truly exceptional. My favorite flavors are Honey Lavender, London Fog, Cherry Blossom, Pistachio, and Wedding Almond!
The macarons from the frozen grocery store are actually better. We tried 16 different macarons, and while the flavors were decent, they were all quite dry and crispy, as if they were overcooked or old. It was a real disappointment. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The presentation is lovely, but the taste doesn't live up to the $3 price tag. They're quite dense and chewy inside, and way too sweet. I wouldn't recommend them.
Finally we can enjoy macarons again. Adorable cafe just off the main street in DC's Georgetown. Also woman owned! Updated from previous review on 2023-01-12
