I will never return to this café. My sister and I went there for lunch and were seated, but not once did anyone come to take our order. We watched as several waitstaff walked past us, attending to other tables and asking those customers if they wanted more coffee. Despite multiple waitresses passing by, not a single one stopped to say they would be with us shortly or acknowledge our presence. It was especially disheartening as my sister and I were the only Black patrons in the café, and we didn’t receive any service. If the café does not serve Black customers, they should be upfront about it because the behavior of the staff was quite telling. I won’t be coming back, even if it were the last...

They walked by us continuously going to other tables asking the people did they want more coffee. Morethan 1 waitress walked by and never stopped and said we will be with you all shortly or anything they all just walked by andtook care of the other customers. Me and my sister were the only black people in there and no one even took our order. If y'alldo not serve black people just say that because your staff is showing it very well. I won't come here again I don't care if itwas the last place open.
I've lived near this charming café for nearly 20 years. On a whim, I invited my best friend to join me for breakfast on Sunday, and the place was bustling! It seemed like many regular customers were there, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The crowd was diverse, with everyone from churchgoers to college students. The food was delicious, hearty, and reasonably priced. Plus, the lively crowd added to the experience! The café opens early and has a fantastic menu. Although the staff was busy, they were attentive and helpful.
I have lived very close to this lovely Cafe for close to 20 years. On a whim I asked my bestie to go to breakfast Sunday. This place was packed! Seemed a lot of regulars were in attendance! The crowd was eclectic. Everyone from church goers to collegestudents. The food was great, filling and reasonable. The crowd was entertaining too! It has very early hours and a greatmenu! Staff was busy but attentive.

The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary. However, after our meal, we discovered that they don’t accept credit cards! What a surprise! There was no indication anywhere – not on the door, the window, or anywhere else – that it was cash only. The waitress mentioned they have an ATM, but they charge a fee for using it. This place feels like a scam, so I would recommend staying away.
The team at On The Hill Cafe is amazing—enthusiastic, welcoming, and efficient! The food is outstanding as well. I strongly suggest tasting the sourdough batter and baked onions with the potatoes. It's a bit of an add-on, but absolutely worth it. My daughter said it was the best French toast she's ever eaten. The portions are plentiful, and the prices are quite fair.
I had a delightful breakfast at On The Hill Cafe with my husband on Sunday. I chose the buffalo chicken bowl, which was truly delicious! We were seated right away, and although the cafe started to get busy, the wait was minimal and the service was excellent. I will definitely return and recommend this place to my friends for its appealing menu!
Food was ok nothing to write home about but after we ate we found out they don't take credit cards! What!! No where did it say cash only not on door, window or anywhere. The waitress says we have an ATM but they charge you to use it. This place isrunning a scam stay away.

My wife and I have been seeking out new breakfast locations every Wednesday for the last 6 or so months. I wish I remembered the name of our purple haired waitress, but she was amazingly attentive and the food was great.
Just brought home breakfast. Horrible. Homemade corned hash is clearly homemade by hormel. Go someplace else, there are so many better options.
