I had high hopes when visiting this restaurant but the overall experience is only average at best. The information on Google maps about ?mask required and staff wear masks? is inaccurate as no one wears mask there. We chose to self park and were asked by the valet to park at the furthest corner of the lot while it was raining. The valet even stopped us in the back lot and asked us to move the parked car because it was not far enough. The parking lot was not even half full. My wife said she wanted to cancel the reservation at that point already. But it was our anniversary dinner, so we chose to look past it. Had a great time with friends at the bar, the frozen bellinis were delicious and I'm not a cocktail person at all. I enjoyed them so much that came back to try the food. We were seated immediately as arrived, the open floor layout and cathedral ceilings make this place make this grandiose. From the appetizers to the main course, every plate was an absolute delight. The only only was the frozen drinks machine was broken, after convincing my friend we should go there because they had the best one on town, what a bummer. Having eaten here once before, I was looking forward to getting mussels that were outstanding last time. It is no longer on the menu. There was a mussel special that was fine, but not as memorable as in the past. Unfortunate menu change. My guest ordered sliced filet mignon with mushrooms in marsala suace with polenta. The meat was in chunks! Similar to a stew. If there is a new chef, this should be addressed. When making the reservation, I noted that a birthday was being celebrated. Dessert was served with no special birthday recognition. Another disappointment.
The menu has a tremendous amount of choices for appetizers and main dishes. The Truffle chicken pizza was very different but lacked the true truffle flavor. It had more of an essence too subtle of a flavor. The ribeye was delicious. One of the best pieces of meat i 've had in a while. Didn 't need any toppings. The brussels sprouts were prepared so nicely, with almonds and the right amount of sweetness. The tiramisu was amazing!. Food was amazing as always. Chef Ray works wonders!! Love that the menu is always changing we get something different each time. Donny and Kelly provided excellent service as well. Our drink coming out on fire and the table side pasta made for a great experience. Shout out to Mike the GM for ensuring everything went well.
Service from wait staff great. Host staff did try to put us in the covered patio. Why? The restaurant was not packed. Also, the Creme Brulee is not good. Please do not put this as a special dessert.
Absolutely delicious! No appetizers, just steaks and sides for the table and it was VERY fair for 6 people! Definitely will be going back!
