If you're in the area for work or visiting Disney and want to try something new for dinner, Ono Hawaiian BBQ is the perfect spot. This review is based on our experience with takeout/delivery service. During our stay at a nearby hotel, we decided to order through Uber Eats for convenience. Having tried Hawaiian BBQ from various places before, we knew what to expect. Coming in I ordered my food with a drink on the side . A mini order something I believed wouldn’t take long . I’ve currently been sitting here 15 minutes waiting and I’ve not only observed the person who ordered right before me receiving his meal sitting down eating and finishing it but someone who ordered after me received his meal . After 20 minutes I decided to then stand in line and ask if my order was ready and what do you know ? Order has been sitting in a bag on the counter no longer hot . Disgusting service to say the least .
The best Hawaiian BBQ in California, IMO. The teriyaki is hands down the best and available at a self service counter unlike similar restaurants which use packets. I know i am not alone in my tastes because every time I go to Ono, the business is packed. I like the way that the kitchen is in full view. Seeing how the cooks prepare the meals gives me the satisfaction in knowing that they are not picking their noses while on duty. Parking: The parking is a challenge because of its proximity to Disneyland and the Resort District.
Ordered through Uber. Chicken was good. Beef was so-so. But the amount of cabbage! Don't need to add that much to make it look like a lot of food. I know times are tough and understandably we have to cut down on portions but don't need to fake it. Photo was after eating a little bit of beef and a bite of chicken.

Ordered delivery on a Sunday night. Got the Spicy Chicken, Mixed BBQ (Chicken/Steak), Crab Rangoon, and Spam Musubi. While the spicy chicken and the Rangoon were good, everything else was NOT. Food quality and taste were off, like it had been sitting for some time. I will not be trying again...
The food at this restaurant was delicious, but when we ordered takeout, we were missing some of our extra sides. I reached out to the company to request a refund or a voucher for the missing items, but I never received a response.
Food and service get a mid rating here as they screwed up our order, so since the food was wrong, I can't properly rate, however, what I did receive (bbq chicken), the flavor was just ok, compared to other Ono's, we've been to.
The meat was too greasy, there was no allergen menu available, and the dish was only served with cabbage instead of broccoli as shown in the pictures. Additionally, plates and utensils were not included with the takeout order.

Food was excellent and had good portions. The only downside is that the mobile orders slow service down a bit. They are right next to all the Disneyland hotels so they will be busy.
