low customer service. too expensive, the band sucks. two weeks ago I had the pleasure to visit this place for the second time, a friend of mine wanted to try it. I recommend to put others cuz i was not impressed the first time. anyway, we came around 9ish it took about 10 min to let us sit, we were ignored for another 15 minutes of the waiter came in we ordered the Essenshahn. that really doesn't like it. I was three times to this place and every time I go, I was disappointed. it's a louder place where they wait and wait until someone serve them. what was most pissed me the last time it was the fact that we had for a reservation of 4 ppl, one we have there, they began to put ok salate and hummus, then brought us guess what) raw leber and kofta ja rohe leber. what they thought....we seem Chinese to them or what. we didn't touch any of this food. later they took it and brought some boobs. we only wondered why they brought such food without telling us. time to check....OMG will never be my...read more
tasting. we at opa have eaten over a dozen places and found their offers to be well prepared and to be reasonable trips. the staff is very friendly, although perhaps not as fast as most Americans want. the ambiente is ideal for termins or groups of friends. there is space at the bar to taste the menu and well prepared drinks the grilled calamari w/balsamic vinegar is excellent, as well as the filled grape leaves and grilled lamb.
The steak was burnt : and fattouch salad was not what I expected. There were only 4 pita chips in it, barely any dressing and it came with mixed greens. Never had one like this before : I asked for chicken and it was not even seasoned and the portion of it was so small. The service and music was good. I wouldn’t come back for the food. Incredible food!. Wonderful, delightful evening w/friends...had the $35pp diinner of absolutely everything... the food just kept coming and coming! The staff and owners were very pleasant and conversational...it's a great place to go to with a group of friends, so you can ooh and aah over all of the various dishes! Can't wait to return!
