This was possibly the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Firstly said it would be 20-40 minutes, it took nearly 2 hours to arrive, during that time not one person answered the phone when we called the restaurant for an update. Secondly, the quality of the food was awful, like really bad! Not expecting the finest cuisine when ordering from here of course but when 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 rice costs just short of £50 with delivery fees I expected significantly more than what we got. There are a lot of terrible reviews for this place and there is a reoccurring theme. Really wish we would have read the reviews before ordering. I used to love this place but now the last order I got was cold,I went in today told them I had friends around for England football I worked out the total spend was £62-00 I live 2 mins away wanted it delivered they said £1-50 delivery,I know 1-50 isn't much but when I am willing to spend £62-00 you would think they would charge,plus the food has gone down hill slot portions have shrunk but prices doubled,please avoid,I ordered my meal from Chinese in Manchester city centre free delivery plus 6 bags of prawn crackers free.STAY AWAY FROM ORIENTAL PEARL,Higher Broughton,Salford.M7.
Very awful awful guy over the phon. Absolutely no one should patronize them they are terrible in dealing with customers. Ordered food nearly two hours no food delivered. Rang in to request for a refund the guy over the phone was very rude so rude hang up on me we’re in June and I’m still chasing after my refund. Very awful people shut it down if you can’t serve and be polite
I placed an order on Uber eats within minutes my order had been cancelled by the restaurant. The following morning I received an email stating that I am still being charged for my order as they had already began preparing my food, despite the cancellation not being at my request within minutes of placing the order. Very unhappy unsatisfied customer.
