If we could rate this as even more than 5 stars we would! The service is exceptional, we were treated so kindly and courteously. The servers were also very knowledgeable and could speak fluent English. The beef tenderloin was the best steak we had ever eaten, the chef comes out with certain dishes and explains a little about them, this beef in particular was from a breed of cows that were brought to this area in Roman times. We were also shown a pamphlet about the meat after we expressed interest. Overall a wonderful experience…the food is phenomenal! The wine is amazing. Preços definitivamente excessivos pelo que é servido: pequenas porções e nada excitante. Contudo, um vinho razoavelmente bom, mas nada de excepcional face ao que já se encontrou em Portugal. Na minha opinião, a selecção do chef deve ser evitada: 26 euros por três copos mesquinhos. Além disso, o mesmo vinho foi apresentado na mesa ao nosso lado, embora o prato de acompanhamento fosse completamente diferente. Por fim, a sobremesa surpresa (que por si só não me deixa maluco), novamente escolhida pelo chef, foi uma desilusão: um cheesecake à moda nova-iorquina que não é uma sobremesa tipicamente alentejana. A garota que servia à mesa era muito simpática e gentil.
We had a wonderful dinner here during our weekend in and around Evora. The staff were absolutely delightful, very welcoming and charming and helpful. We had a few different dishes to share, and I can honestly say they were all amazing. Accompanied by some great wine, we had a fantastic evening, topped off with some local liquor. Absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Evora.
Perfect in every way! Beautiful and delicious food, excellent service, and a charming, comfortable atmosphere! We chose the 5 course tasting menu, and it was awesome! Every dish was unique, and delivered! Wine pairings were thoughtful and matched perfectly! A nice a la carte menu is available, as are excellent wines for every palate. Wow, what a great place. Excellent friendly service and very good food. The grilled octopus with lureed chickpeas and smoked pork belly will not soon be forgotten! This was the best place we tried in Evora (better than Dom Joaquim and La Bruxa both of which were good but not as good).
Excelente em todos os aspectos. Serviço amigável com inglês perfeito, boa comida. O bife foi um dos melhores que já tivemos, e as vieiras foram definitivamente as melhores de sempre. Provavelmente o melhor restaurante de Évora.
Nós amamos a comida, mas especialmente o serviço amigável que eles oferecem. Também gostamos da originalidade dos seus pratos, o ambiente é calmo e muito bem decorado. Se voltar a Évora voltarei aqui!
