I had a wonderful experience at The Original Pancake House! It was my first visit, and now I'm eager to go back regularly! The staff was friendly, and we didn’t have to wait at all when we arrived on a Wednesday morning at 8:30 (I guess that’s a good time to avoid the crowds, right? Haha). My son ordered the cinnamon bun pancakes, which he absolutely loved, while I tried the chorizo and pepper Jack omelette—it was delicious! They didn’t skimp on the chorizo or any of the fillings, and the fact that it's oven-baked (I believe that's the process after it’s cooked on the skillet) really makes a difference. This has quickly become one of my favorite brunch spots!
I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon and specifically requested that the bacon not be crispy. The waitress asked if I meant soft, and I confirmed. However, the bacon I received was excessively crispy, to the point that it was difficult to cut. The waitress did offer to have another order made to my preference, but unfortunately, it was almost identical to the first one. Additionally, the scrambled eggs were undercooked. Overall, this was not a quality meal given the price.
My daughter and I enjoy coming to the OPH for breakfast, I always get the same thing, veggie omelet, 3 stack pancakes included, with a side order of bacon and sausage. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach but I love it! I can eat off of it for several days. The server we had was extremely nice and attentive. I think her name was Terry, she helped make our experience what it was. Wonderful place to eat and enjoy the experience!
This place is very good I had to change my rating as I found out what I thought was good poisoning from this place was me being pregnant. This place is very good just make sure you’re not pregnant before eating eggs Benedict it’s not good for the baby. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Won of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! My only wish is that there was one closer to Kenosha, Wisconsin!
Great spot for pancakes! Service was great, We did not have to wait to be seated. Portion sizes are a little smaller then other breakfast spots, but you must order any of their specialty pancakes!
One of the BEST national breakfast chains...but each location has its own personality. This location is very homey and the food is TOP NOTCH!
